The program does this by serving as a "matchmaking service" that brings together 2-4 interested parties who share the cost of joint ownership. After all, whether or not you intend to 'fly alone', it doesn't always make sense to 'buy alone.'

CIRRUS SHARE dramatically reduces the costs of airplane ownership, and it's an easy program to take part in. CIRRUS SHARE does that by bringing together 2-4 interested parties who share the cost in a joint ownership. Though Cirrus does not play any management or mediation role before, during or after the sale, we do act as a "matchmaking service" to put you in touch with others to form a private airplane-buying partnership.

What We Do:

  • Set aside a specific Cirrus airplane for your CIRRUS SHARE group to take delivery of within 4 months.
  • Actively market your partnership by leveraging our vast database of contacts, holding open house events, and maximizing a specially created website that supports the CIRRUS SHARE program.
  • Provide demonstration flights to potential partners.
  • Support you with structured partnership documents and checklists, and discounted services from our legal experts and tax partners.
  • Provide financing for each share of the aircraft.

What You Do:

  • Get into the Cirrus aircraft of your dreams for as little as 25% of the normal price.
  • Select and order a factory new Cirrus airplane for your CIRRUS SHARE group.
  • Put down a $10,000 deposit for an SR20 GTS, a $15,000 deposit for an SR22 GTS or a $15,000 deposit for an SR22 Turbo GTS. 
  • Work with Cirrus to market the partnership by attending open house events and by networking with potential partners.
  • Take the lead in structuring the group. This is your opportunity to be the main point person for coordinating the owner's group.

    * Aircraft deposits in the CIRRUS SHARE program are refundable for a period of 60 days.
